Ouch

This blog might be a little out there. Currently, I am laying in my bed with my foot elevated. While playing basketball yesterday, I came down on my foot wrong and screwed my ankle up. I thought it was broken right when it happened, so I went to the emergency room. After staying there for literally 5 hours, I was informed that it is a really bad sprain and not a break. That is a blessing because now I don't have to have surgery. Hopefully, I can just stay off of it, ice it, and it will be OK. They did give me some Vicodin, which is helping things out a little. At least now I can use the prescription, and not have to go into my "special" stash of pain medicine.

I'm not really sure why I'm telling you this, probably because I'm really really bored. Let's get some updates on how everyone is. I need something to read for the next couple days.

Oh yeah, I have been given a new name.....The Mantern. That is the name tag I have been given at large group for the past two weeks. It's pretty good. I could get used to it. Anyway, let's hear from all you fools. I miss you, and can't wait for training. What? What?

Dude, Mantern, I'm going to see you this weekend. Rawk. Bring your "special" pain medicine and we'll kick it after the campus ministers go to sleep.

Ahh, Walter. I'm so sorry youre stuck in the bed... but im thinking that this sprained-ankle-cloud does have a silver lining... i mean if you still cant walk in 2 weeks you could have a really legit halloween costume for Tiny Tim. keep your chin up, Mantern! God bless you every one! (i think that's Tiny Tim's big line). No breaking news with me by the way!

Walt!
Too bad Elizabeth and I aren't there to give you a big hug...like the one from the grove. It was great to see you. December is coming soon! I hope you are better than ever by then.
