We're Still Fighting It...
If I knew how to post a picture, I might post a little bulldog giving a high five to Col. Reb because I know that's the way they would want it to be. I still can't get over the hate I'm feeling from my beloved Rebel brothers. I mean really guys, let's act our age and all get along. Saying mean things about other peoples' schools is what you do on the merry-go-round on the 4th grade playground. Please.
For other unrelated news, I've decided to be like Mac and notice some of the more popular fashion trends surrounding me on this great campus. First of all, we'll start with our fratastic campus minister....needlepoint belt with golfers on it anyone? For Marshall, it's a must-wear (preferably with pants that are too short).
Also, one of our favorite freshman confines himself to wearing shirts with wildlife animals on them...ONLY. Eagle, vulture, moose...he's got them all. Our favorite is the one he wore 2 days in a row, the vulture one wasn't it Trey?
I've also seen the jean shorts trend plague this campus. Today, I ran across a guy wearing CARGO denim shorts. Funny.
Ok, that's all I have for now. I hope that you have all picked up some tips...must haves for this season's fashion.

I wore nothing but cargo jean shorts between the ages of six and nine. They are awesome/unattractive.
thinking of John running around wearing denim cargos at the age of 6...i can't think of him without the beard, so it's pretty funny.

I totally understand the needlepoint belt with golfers on it. It's everywhere here: belts, skirts, tote bags, shorts, pants, purses...EVERYWHERE. It's like I've walked into a freeze frame of Ralph Lauren! But, if you go outside W&L the townies are in hippie trends, walking gear or some sort of early 90’s clothing. Just pick your time period and get stuck in it.
