OK, the rumors are true! Yippeeeee!!

Whoopeee, I'm engaged!!!!! I'm sorry it's taken me so long to let you all know, but Lauren (the one) was having a candlelight thing at her sorority. That pretty much means that I can't tell a lot of people until she gets to "surprise" her friends there. It happened the Saturday before the Thanksgiving. It was awesome, and I will tell you all about it later. Right now, I am preparing for a sermon.

That's right. Your truly is talking tonight at large group. Holy smokes, I'm nervous. I haven't even officially led a Bible study, and I'm going straight to the big leagues. I'm going to attempt to talk about the Lord's Prayer, and just hope that those students don't leave the room completely confused. I know it's a little late, but I would love for ya'll to pray for me as I speak tonight at 9. I will certainly try to let you know how it goes. I just hope I don't pee my pants.....which would get some laughs.

I can't wait for the 12th! You all have to promise to let me show you around Fort Worth (35 minutes away from Dallas) while you are here. Just get ready for non-stop fun.

Here's a pic of the happy couple, though it's not nearly as good as Sweet P's. This isn't from the night, it's just a picture of when Lauren came to visit me in Ft. Worth. Holla back.

Atlanta: The City of Blinding Lights

Not to gloat, but the girl next to me took this picture. Yeah, we were that close. It was the defining moment of my existence...

And for those of us who aren't engaged...

Missionary dating. What a revolutionary idea. I think this girl is onto something. Please look this up. You won't be sorry. Make sure to read the whole thing. It's one of the funniest things I've seen in a while.

The only thing better than an intern engagement...

The Freaking Facebook

OK, I am somewhat of a facebook junky, and now that I have left all of my Ole Miss friends I have gotten even worse. It has enabled me to keep in touch with people that I honestly would probably never see again. Or if I did see them, then it would be totally awkward because we hadn't talked in 10 years.

So anyway, when I became an intern I had one goal in mind. Reach students for Christ and equip them to serve, you may ask???? Not exactly, but that would definitely be something that came from this goal. Build lasting relationships with students for the rest of my life???? Nope, but this goal wouldn't be possible without the help of TCU students (or at least one). I know the suspense is killing you, so I'll just tell. I wanted a facebook group named for me at my new school. Guess what??

"The Man-tern Fan Club" is now up and running at TCU, baby! I don't mean to brag, but thanks to Erin Cesla of TCU, my intern goal is complete. How did this happen? It was the Celebrity Scooter that really sent me over the edge. The stupid pictures of me at that thing had to have a venue for exposure.

I don't really know what I'm going to do now. Maybe I'll just call it complete at Christmas, and search for another high-paying job like this one. Oh well, sorry that was so long. Let's get some other posts on this thing. I want to know how you folks have been.
