Favorite Moments of Training....

Mac and I decided that these were our favorite moments from this past training:

*John Stone "The XO in the front row from Clarksdale, MS"
*Toddler with the DTR cam at the sushi place
*The freakin' Bits "going to bed" at 10:30
*Sharing rooms with more than the usual number
*Flora wrapping her legs around Mac during the night and not realizing it
*Aaron telling David Green that he thinks of his supporters as money and not people
*Being the "Big Men on Campus" with the first years
*Trey saying he hates his students
*Toddler telling us in secret how much he wants to date the Urinator
*Anna's first bunion-less training
*Finding out that Clif was Will Todd's father
*Jonathan Ramsay mackin' on the first years
*Poker til 4 in the morning

The End....if you have any more to add, please feel free!

Don't be jealous...

Yes, I do plan to ride one of these pretty babies in Peru! I'll be sure to send pictures...

Since I am the Sara Joy of the intern class of '05, I plan to keep up with our blog. And I've started a blog of my own to keep everyone updated on my adventures in Peru. Writing Llamas is guaranteed to be a plethora of insightful musings and poetic genius.

I hope you all are enjoying your quality time with Clif & gang at the Marriott Perimeter Center Atlanta. I am sad I can't be there to join in the festivities and test failings, but I'm preparing for my big move to Llama-land. Adios mis amigos!

Qu

Some Tips

Ok, I can't take long because I am about to try to START studying for this freaking test. I mean, I am going to embarrass myself next week. Well, I guess it's my own fault. A small update on my life. Lauren and I are now moved into our apartment, and it looks great. It's a lot better living with a girl than with three sophomore guys like last year. : ) So, here are the few tips that I have received. If you could email these to that list Trey used, that would be eggggselent. Hope it helps:

1. New Testament Books: Authors, Why Written, Audience, Themes, Outline

2. Life Of Christ: Be able to give a little timeline of the life of Christ. Miracles, sermons, big events, etc.

3. Catechism: Probably the beginning questions. The big ones are the start. Somebody said something about possibly the first 40 maybe? I'm not sure.

4. Describe: Justification, Sanctification, Adoption, Scripture, God

5. Order of Salvation: Election, Effectual Calling, Regeneration, Conversion (faith and repentence), Justification, Adoption, Sanctification, Glorification

6. Verses: They will give us verses and we will have to tell where it's found, who said it, who to, and why. I think Erin already mentioned this.

7. Know a Little About: Elders, Deacons, Marriage, Spiritual Gift, Love Chapter

That's all I could come up with. Hopefully, that helps a little. If you have heard anything different from other people, then I would go with what they say. Either way, you will not do worse than me, so it will be fine. I can't wait to see all of you fooooools!

more fun wedding shots....

ladies and gentlemen, I meant to post this sooner.... I know everyone wanted to see our lovable blog-creator himself on his wedding day so I took a commemorative picture and forgot to post it these 11 days since the big day!
i will try to include a few so that you girls who are interested can see the bride (or you can just see her in person next week!) and her dress, etc. and then I'll see if can't find a few more pics that show off some of the more interesting interns/guests.
it's like a wedding highlights post, if you will....

1. (from L to R) amanda lynch (intern girlfriend), the bride, and taylor gresham (new intern)
2. super-interns having a good time, plus brett
3. walter parke jones
4. lauren noel jones (and me)
5. sarah lawrence allen (non-intern but working for the pca in CO) and brittany aills (new intern)

FUN! thank you for taking my little tour.....
if you want more, check our boss (aka erin newman) on the facebook, that girl can really tag a picture!

Gin and Tonic with Gouda cheese....

These are the things I was expecting tonight as I walked into Trey's house (after I returned home from Bible study to an empty house)....instead of these two delightful treats, I found Mac and Trey intently involved in a game of Mario Cart via Game Cube. Of course, I joined in the fun. Thus is life in T-town.

Has anyone studied for the exam? I know for sure that Elizabeth Baxter hasn't studied at all. Mac and I have done SOME work...but really not enough. Where is Walt with those tips? Its not like they dont have internet on their honeymoon! Get real.

Speaking of Walt getting married, if you weren't there, here's what you missed:
