A Good Resource

Hey guys, just wanted to put this link on the blog to the Blog of First Pres. in Jackson. They have had some really encouraging things on there to help us through this tough time. Here's the LINK. Thanks to everyone who has been so uplifting. Can't wait to see you soon!

Chelsea...

We love you.

Tuesday, March 21, 2006

So, I want to know what everybody did for Spring Break. We took 30 people to Dublin, Ireland and helped a Presbyterian church in the city. It really sucked that it was St. Patrick's Day too. Oh wait, no it didn't. It was amazing. Even though I didn't want to, I had to have a Guinness in honor of the man in green. I don't have time to write much about it, because I STILL haven't written my newsletter. Let me know what you did, and post some pics!

The Greatest News Ever

Fellow Interns, there is something that you must know in order to not quit your job. This news might be a little late, but it'll be applicable at least four more times. For a small fee Kinko's will actually fold your newsletters for you. Yes, you still have to sign and staple them, but folding is the worst part. It cost me $7.80 to have 220 folded. AND you can write off your folding as a development cost. Sorry for those of you who are responsible and have already sent off your newsletters, but that's what you get for being better than the rest of us. For the slackers, enjoy.

RUF Intern blues

I have got the ol' RUF intern blues
I hate these ol' RUF intern blues
Haven't finished my newsletter
The Freshmen are too busy
I have got these ol' intern blues

I have got the ol' intern blues
yes, those sorry intern blues
The new class of interns is coming
I am supposed to know what I am doing
Its those sorry ol' intern blues

With the RUF intern blues a-ragin'
the dread of more fundraisin'
soon I will be beggin'
I hate those 'soon I will have to raise 26,000 dollars but my bible study only has three people in it' RUF blues

An original composition by Jonathan Ramsay (I leave it to the more musically talented among us to commit this to appropriate song)

Studs

Let's hear some internet-based cheers for Heidi and Paul, who both have run half marathons within the last few weeks.
I can't say too much about Paul's...Chelsea perhaps can fill in on how awesome he is. But I watched Heidi finish the Bearathon yesterday, and there's really no way around it - she's a hoss.
